6月17日（火）、当クラブの信太会員（現在オーストラリア留学中）が、ブリスベン国際ローターアクトクラブ様の例会にメーキャップ参加させていただきました！

急なご連絡にもかかわらず、温かく迎えてくださったブリスベン国際ローターアクトクラブの皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。

当日のプログラムでは、「スポーツを通じて子どもたちの身体的・精神的な成長を促し、自信や絆を育む」ことをビジョンに活動されている団体

Kicks for Kids Foundation の創設者 Mac Millar 様より、支援活動に関するご講話をいただきました。

グローバルな社会貢献のあり方を学ぶ、非常に貴重な機会となりました。

また、例会の最後には、釧路北ローターアクトクラブの活動紹介をさせていただく時間もいただきました！

特に、オーストラリアではあまり馴染みのないハロウィンイベントへの取り組みに興味を持っていただけたことが印象的でした。

🌏国や文化が違っても、ローターアクトを通じてつながり、学び合えることの素晴らしさを改めて実感しました。

ローターアクトクラブでは、18歳以上の人たちが集まって、地域社会のリーダーと意見交換をしたり、リーダーシップと専門的なスキルを育んだりしながら、楽しく奉仕活動を行っています。

🌏 Rotaract Club of Kushiro North– Thank You, Rotaract Club of Brisbane International!

On Tuesday, June 17th, our member Mr. Shinta—currently studying abroad in Australia—had the wonderful opportunity to attend a regular meeting of the Rotaract Club of Brisbane International as a make-up.

Despite the short notice, we were deeply grateful for the warm welcome and hospitality shown by the Rotaract Club of Brisbane International members. Thank you so much!

During the program, we had the honor of listening to a special talk by Mr. Mac Millar, founder of the Kicks for Kids Foundation, an organization whose vision is “to promote physical and mental growth in children through sport, helping them build confidence and meaningful connections.”

It was a valuable opportunity to learn about global approaches to community service.

At the end of the meeting, we were also given time to introduce the activities of Rotaract Club of Kushiro North

The members showed great interest in our Halloween event—a community activity that’s not widely recognized in Australia—and it left a lasting impression.

Even with different languages, countries, and cultures, this experience reminded us once again how Rotaract connects people across borders and provides opportunities to learn and grow together.
